Why Did You Become a Dentist?
Many people have a negative story about a childhood dentist that leads to a fear of the dental office well into adulthood – but thankfully, that isn’t the case for Dr. Kitsos! Growing up, she was lucky to have a very gentle and kind dentist who opened her eyes to how interesting and rewarding oral healthcare could be. Today, she has been a part of this world for well over two decades, and those long-ago experiences were definitely what started her down the right path.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
After graduating with her dental doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Kitsos underwent a General Practice Residency with Philadelphia Veterans Affairs. She is also a Certified Invisalign Provider and a proud member of both the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Association.
Outside the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Kitsos and Dr. Moftah El-Ghadi have been married for almost 20 years, and they have three wonderful children (one son and two daughters) together. In her spare time, you can often find her cooking, trying new restaurants, gardening, traveling, biking with the whole family, or running. Running marathons has been a lifelong goal of hers in particular, and so far, she has completed both the New York City Marathon and the Marine Corp. Marathon, with hopes to one day run the Boston Marathon as well!
